Winter Formal Dress
Emilia Kennedy
Unique to it's wearer, this dress was a collabrative design between two best friends.
This dress was inspired by my friend's love of the 1940's and 50's. She loved the bateau neckline and wanted to incorperate the deep pleates she saw in another design. We added a band of Duppoini silk in a complementing green to contrast with the heavy Jersey Knit. On the hem of this particular piece is an embroidered leaf pattern.
This was one of my favorite rush order commissions as it not only reminds me of my best friend, but also that there is something out there for every person no matter what you look like, your size, or your taste. I love seeing that I'm able to make clothing that makes people look and feel amazing about themselves!
Thank you Emilia for being an inspiring person and best friend to me!
